| Sometimes Ellis will sleep in the girls' room because he doesn't get to see the girls often. They miss Daddy a lot and wants him to sleep with them when he finally gets home. One Sunday morning last month, I was up first to get ready for church (what else is new) and as soon as I woke up, I heard this down the hallway .....

| About 3 hours after that last picture from the last entry was taken ... the swelling went down a bit and Kayla was so excited to come and tell me "Mommy, it's better now!!! My eye is a bit more open than before!!!" It's all relative ... I"m glad she know to be grateful for the small things.
She wanted to take a picture with her "substitute" teddy ... she can still smile even with a swollen eye.
Found out just yesterday Brandon from Chicago is in town so we met up for my typical progressive meal in Causeway Bay!
Actually Brandon had the funnier pictures in his camera. Katie is really into doing silly face for the camera now.
Yeah ... time to welcome our Fall visitors!!!!!! Yahoo!!! So glad God provides visitors to cheer us up when we are down.
Thank you to ALL of our friends that have expressed their concern for little Kayla ... okay .. not so little anymore . just wish she was little again. I told her many of her friends care about her and are praying for her. She smiled and asked if it's still September?
When school starts next Monday, I'm sure the weeks will go by fast!
